We’ve recently taken on a small plot—nothing big, just a little space of our own here in Ely.
Today felt like day one.
Nimu spent some time preparing the soil and planting our first edible flowers. It was one of those calm, in-between moments—nothing rushed, just quietly getting started.

At Griddle Bar & Meat House, we spend most of our time in the kitchen and restaurant, so stepping outside and starting something like this feels like a small but meaningful change.
It’s early days, and we’re figuring things out as we go, but there’s something really special about starting from scratch. A bit of fresh air, a bit of soil, and the idea that, in time, this might become part of what we serve.
For now, it’s just the beginning.
